Non-surgical Periodontal Treatment

Non-surgical periodontal treatment is the foundation of gum disease management. It involves detailed cleaning below the gumline to remove bacterial deposits and calculus, reduce inflammation and allow the tissues to heal. Treatment is tailored to your case and may include oral hygiene coaching and a structured maintenance plan to support long term stability.

Gum Graft

Gum grafting is used to increase gum thickness and improve the stability of the gum margin where there is recession or inadequate keratinised tissue. The aim is to protect the tooth or implant, improve comfort during brushing and support long term gum health. The type of graft and technique are selected based on your anatomy and the treatment goals.

Crown Lengthening

Crown lengthening reshapes gum and sometimes bone to expose more tooth structure. It is commonly performed to assist with restorative dentistry where decay or fracture extends below the gumline, or where gum levels need refinement for improved access and restoration fit. We coordinate with your general dentist to ensure the final gum position supports your long term restorative plan.

Sinus Lift

A sinus lift increases bone height in the upper back jaw when the sinus limits implant placement. Bone graft material is placed beneath the sinus lining to create a stable foundation for implants. This can be performed as a staged procedure or, in select cases, at the same time as implant placement.

Bone Augmentation and Ridge Preservation

Bone augmentation and ridge preservation support the jawbone after tooth removal or where there has been bone loss. By placing graft material and protecting the site during healing, we can help maintain ridge shape and volume. This can improve the fit and aesthetics of future restorations and may make implant placement more predictable when required.

Orthodontic Tooth Exposure

When a tooth does not erupt normally, surgical exposure can help guide it into the correct position. We work closely with your orthodontist to expose the tooth and, where indicated, place a small attachment to assist traction. The approach is designed to preserve gum health and aesthetics.

Surgical Periodontal Treatment

Surgical periodontal treatment is recommended when deeper pockets, complex bone defects or persistent inflammation cannot be adequately managed with non surgical care alone. Depending on the case, this may include periodontal flap surgery for access, regenerative procedures to support bone and attachment, or resective approaches to improve long term cleaning and stability. We plan surgery with a focus on comfort, precision and predictable healing.

Dental Implants

Dental implants replace missing teeth by supporting a crown, bridge or denture with a titanium fixture placed in the jaw. Implant therapy may be straightforward, or may involve additional procedures such as bone or soft tissue augmentation to support long term stability and aesthetics. We work closely with your general dentist and restorative team to plan the position, timing and tissue management for predictable outcomes.
